Every year, The University of New Mexico Hospital hosts the Diabetes Awareness Fair, bringing together dozens of local organizations with a shared goal of educating the public on managing and preventing diabetes—at no cost. The third annual fair is Saturday, September 19 at 10 a.m. at the Westgate Community Center, located at 10001 De Vargas Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121. The event is free and open to the public.
