The nurses took great care of while I was going through this difficult time from on triage nurse to my pre op nurse who sat with me when we were waiting to take time to get to know me make me feel comfortable when I was so nervous.

My intentions has been to write a letter to the CEO or the Board of Directors/staff to share the overall treatment within UNMH, UNM Clinics, UNM Staff/employees, entire UNMHealth Care. The care, treatment, attentiveness, timeliness, response time, knowledge, each and every person (doctors, residents, nurses, ultrasound staff both hospital and clinic, administrative staff, anyone who has been a part of my care has been a phenomenal experience. I feel as though I am truly cared about, cared for and special. The thought ran across my mind "why is every employee higher level to lower level positions so attentive and caring"? My first visit and experience to UNMH determined or changed my thought of where I will give birth to my children. Originally I was choosing between Lovelace and Presbyterian. I never knew UNM had such a powerful, and incredible team and staff.

SRMC Emergency Department

They all were top notch and that's why I chose SRMC. Everyone is very good at explaining what they're doing after being careful to make sure I was the patient that they were dealing with. They exercise respect and comfort every time they check in on you. I drove myself so I didn't want any pain medication although they offered it multiple times. They wanted to make sure I was comfortable. I felt so well cared for and never questioned their plan of action.
